Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026. How Brickly collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. What this covers

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Brickly collects when you visit the marketplace, join a waitlist, create an account, or buy and sell shares, and how that information is used and protected.

By using Brickly you accept the practices described here and in the Terms of Use.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name and email address, and a password you choose for sign in.

Waitlist information: your email address and the amount you indicate you might invest, used to notify you when an offering opens.

Investment information: the properties you hold shares in, the number of shares, your transaction history, and your rent distributions.

Usage information: pages you view, device and browser type, referring pages, and approximate location, collected through standard server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.

We do not ask for, and do not store, full Social Security numbers, bank login credentials, or card numbers on our own systems. If identity verification or payments become necessary, those details are collected and processed by specialized third party providers, not by Brickly.

3. How we use your information

To create and maintain your account, process buys and sells, and pay monthly rent to the right shareholder.

To send you waitlist notifications, transaction confirmations, and required legal notices.

To improve the marketplace, measure how the site is used, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand which pages are visited. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may stop working. We use analytics to improve the product, not to build advertising profiles.

5. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not use your investment activity to market unrelated products at you.

6. How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help run the platform, such as email delivery, payments, identity verification, analytics, and database hosting, under contracts that limit how they can use it. These providers may process your data only to provide their service to us.

We may disclose information when required by law, in connection with a regulatory request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brickly and its users.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and transaction records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after, to meet legal and accounting obligations. Waitlist data is retained until you ask to be removed.

8. Security and retention practices

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Account data is stored using row level security so each investor can only read their own holdings and distributions. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to production systems is limited and logged. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we apply measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. See our Security page for detail.

9. Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails using the link in each message. Email privacy@bricklyinvesting.com to make any of these requests.

Depending on where you live, state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we hold, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of, but we honor all applicable rights requests regardless of your state.

10. Children

Brickly is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform grows. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
